The features of solar street lights

Since the power devices were invented 100 years ago, the electricity was so widely used that I can’t imagine how our lives will be like. Actually, the electricity is environment-friendly, but the fossil fuels used for generating electricity will create carbon dioxide pollution. So scientists are trying to find out good ways to generate electricity. And now the solar energy becomes our best choice. The independent solar panel that will generate electricity will cut of the losses during transport. Now many cities are installing solar street lights to lower the electricity consumption from the conventional power devices.
The environment-friendly solar lights show many advantages:
1. Energy saving Provide electric energy with solar energy photovoltaic conversion, that would never be exhausted;
2. Environment protection No pollution, no noise, no radiation;
3. Safety No such accident as electric shock or fire at all;
4. Convenience Simple installation, no need to erect wire or excavate ground without consideration of power shut down or power restriction;
5. Long life High technical content of the product, control system and module being of famous world brand, intelligent design, and reliable quality;
6. High quality Technical product, green energy, using units attaching importance to technology, enhancing green image and level;
7. Less investment-Investment all at once, same price as AC power (sum of AC power investment from substation, power feeding, control cabinet, cable and engineering), investment all at once with long term usage;
8. Wide application solar energy comes from nature. It can be used so long there is sunshine, especially suitable for green land sight light equipage, high grade housing and outdoor lighting, tour scenic spot and coast lighting and decoration, industrial development area, factory and enterprise street lamp, outdoor light of colleges.
Lighting is by no means the heaviest user of electricity on an individual basis. But when you consider the sheer number of street lamps in a heavily populated city, it all adds up. If the power consumed by electric lighting could somehow be generated by a renewable source, the savings in polluting emissions would be considerable. As of now, the technology for street lighting powered by renewable sources is not yet commercially viable. But we are getting there. Already, there are many different types of solar powered light available for domestic gardens.
An interesting example of solar powered lighting on a transport facility can be found on the railway stations of North Wales. The railway line that snakes around the Welsh coast comes out of Shrewsbury and many of the stations are only small village halts serving a very small number of people. These stations are largely unmanned and a source of lighting was needed that would require little maintenance. These stations in North Wales now have lamps that are attached to solar panels. The solar panels generate electricity - even in the cold, dull, cloudy climate of North Wales - and that electricity is then stored in a battery similar to a vehicle battery.
Wales hope that this experiment shows the way forward for solar lighting, public lighting to provide an increasingly important part. Of course, solar panels are used on the roof of many families, especially in the climate, such as a sunny California. Solar lighting is an issue, the power is in one day is not necessary to generate light. This means that the battery storage required, until the night of power, as long as is needed. As fuel cell technologies, we see progress in this decade; this should not be a problem. The future is bright for solar power lighting
